Why Practice Self-Care?

What happens when you don't take care of yourself?  Well, here's what happens to me: I get sleepy and unmotivated.  To borrow the school theme from many moons ago, my bucket gets bone dry with nothing let to offer anyone.  I get snappish and crabby.  I eat all the rubbish foods I shouldn't.  I get overwhelmed at the drop of a hat.  Not fun.  If you, in any way, have that going on, you're like me and you need to find new ways to take care of yourself.

 

Maybe you don't ever find time for yourself and you're running on empty.  Maybe you occasionally make a priority of taking care of yourself, but need some new ideas.  Maybe you're excellent at self-care and have some new ideas to share.  Wherever you are on the self-care scale, hopefully you can find what you need here to help you focus on you.
